LIFE Butler

Living Independence For the Elderly (LIFE) is an all -inclusive program of medical and support services to help people maintain independence in the community. Nationally known as the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), this model has proven success throughout the United States.

In 2005 Lutheran SeniorLife established VieCare, Inc., a local, non-profit corporation.

LIFE Butler County helps eligible older adults who are living at home by managing their complex medical, functional and social needs. Participants have a full range of medical, social and rehabilitation services available to them* including:

- Comprehensive medical care
- Adult day services
- Support in the participant's home
- Meals
- Recreational programs
- Transportation to and from the LIFE Center where medical needs can be met
