I’m pretty sure working full time as a butler isn’t a side hustle, it’s a job

“Side hustle” that makes you a live in butler, months from your family and home, as much travel as your employer does, where “even if a family member dies, you have to put on a smile and work”. Huge respect to all butlers out there. It really takes away your own life for someone else. True passion is needed for that.

Those who make six figures often work day and night. Being a butler is worse than being a nurse. It’s on call, sometimes you live in, you can’t have friends or family and you have to keep a good image of yourself when you DO get time off. The pay is good, you can travel with your employer but you’ll never be a person again, you need to live for the employer.

I have a butler; she doesn't make 100k but paid well. It depends on the skill set and responsibilities. If you employ one and have several properties and cars to manage, and (s)he's running a staff that deals with the management of the assets, then yes, the remuneration climbs, but if he or she, in my case, just takes care of the family and keeps the house in proper order then a beginning butler on the low level is about $50K, but an average of 65-85k is pretty standard. She is an IBA graduate.

Butler is a job which requires passion... You won't choose this just because it pays well

It’s 6 figures, but researching it shows it can be up to 60 hours or more a week.

I don’t think you can be a butler of that caliber if you’re just in it for the money. It is a passion for service

im pretty sure working as a butler isn't gonna work if u are impatient, high pride and ego, hate to do what u're told to and don't have sense of hospitality. so not everyone can do this.

I’ll be 1000% honest here. I watched the video and the butlers said that they found passion for it. Claiming that they do it to “help others and for others to enjoy an experience.”

Hello? These are rich people!!! What “help” do they need??? If be honest if you want a job that helps people, you help people in need. You do something makes a change, not something that feeds a person’s right to discriminate you or treat you terribly. Not only can they do everything themselves but they’ve got everything they need. They’re set! What else do they need?

That ain't a side hustle, that's a main hustle.

Don't ask about why people don't do it if you've never worked in food service or retail

Because the Academy is very expensive. Because the degree is very hard. Even if you can pay It and pass, it's a very hard work. You have not schedule, you work 12 or 16 hours six days per week, you can not make any mistake...

Money is not everything.
