Sight fishing big largemouth bass with the wacky worm! It's a hot calm summer day and I find some nice bass sunning themselves up shallow in the clear water of this lake!

Something I read and never noticed until then is big bass will swim around with carp sometimes because while they’re bottom feeding they kick up crayfish and where I live gobies.

I went pike fishing yesterday here in Southern Ontario Canada, my first cast I caught a seven pound fish. I was in such a hurry to get my kayak on the water I forgot my pliers, he was hooked right on the roof of his mouth with a Texas rigged craw. I held his mouth open and did something very stupid, I stuck my two fingers in his mouth just as he clamped down, my gloves got stuck in the tiny teeth on the roaf of his mouth, just like Velcro. After all was said and done it took three stitches to close my fingers, I will never forget my pliers again.😂

Matt, ever since I first watched you I almost envied you the clearness of the water you fish. A day so quiet that I’d get a shot at such conditions to collide would be my equivalent to a perfect storm. In this episode I watched where it became a liability. There were moments when you seemed torn by going after this one, as a couple big ones drifted past your view. You were like a kid in a candy store. I’d likely have done the same - or worse.
