Gasly and Checo’s win feel so powerful because of the stories that it brought with them. One man was dumped by a top team and had to prove he was worth it. Another was fighting for his F1 future and won from the back of the grid against all odds to show he still belongs.

A race win is like a statement to all F1 viewers that it is possible. My favorites are for sure the old ones but people like Verstappen, Leclerc, Gasly, Perez, Ricciardo, Bottas and now Ocon too really showed how special this can be. Only for Vettel, Kimi, Alonso and Hamilton it's different because they've won a lot in the past and for them it's like coming home.
