Matlab Examples - Linear Combination of Unit Steps and Ramps

Показать описание

This example construct and plots a signal x(t) that is a linear combination of various time-shifted unit step and ramp functions. Each component of the signal is constructed using the "ramp" and "unitStep" functions detailed in the previous videos. The final signal is constructed by summing all components of the signal to form the final x(t). This type of signal (i.e. a linear combination of unit steps and ramps) is often analyzed in undergraduate linear systems courses.

Nice video. Please I'd like to know. If you have an initial value for an input signal into a system and you wish to ramp it down/up (instead of using a step change in the input signal), how do you do that?

This is a great tutorial. I was trying the ramp function in my MATLAB 2014a and it said Undefined function 'ramp' for input arguments ... Is the command for ramp is different in this situation? Please help. thanks.
