We want the 30 year to go up to, 9% and home prices to drop by 50%

yeah to be honest, as home buyer we are so angry, i want house drop back to 2019 happends overnight .we have been waiting so so long to get our dream home, but i think Rate would not inpact the house price drop huge like 2008, as long as American Unemployment rate does not increase like 2008. The food price never goes down, Subway $5 FOOTLONG is $10 Footlong now. And even the house price drops a lot, never go back to what it was, and we may not afford the house daily costs such as repairing, lawn, Property Tax, HOA, insurance blablabla. Just be a little more patient wait for 2 years more, now is a "tug of war" game, seller hold their house beacause they dont wanna drop price, buyers dont wanna buy because tomorrow house will drop. We home buyers can do now is keep saving every penny we can to prepare the chance for our family.
