I feel like "A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..." kinda implies that Earth exists in this universe.

Here's something to think about. The alien race of the movie E.T. is seen in the Galactic Senate. And some of those aliens did make it to earth in the movie E.T. where we see the alien try to make contact with the kids dressed as Yoda. So we can conclude that Earth does exist in the SW universe. Possibly in a different galaxy but it's there.

According to Star Trek lore the Battle of Endor happened 15, 000 years ago in the Andromeda galaxy. An R2 unit was beamed aboard the USS Lexington in the fan series episode Galaxy Hopper.

Theres a dark secret in bf2. In genosis, it shows a picture of the great lakes dried out. This means that genosis is earth (not Canon but a cool Easter egg.)

Honestly, I thought Coruscant was the Star Wars equivalent to earth because it had similar day and year lengths to earth

As I understand it, the opening lines make it clear that the galaxy where Star Wars takes place is not the same galaxy where Earth exists. Since the civilization depicted in Star Wars is never depicted as travelling outside it's own galaxy, it's therefore impossible for earth to have played any role in the stories except for non-canon alternate world stuff.
