Science from Home: Oobleck

NOTE: Oobleck MUST BE thrown away in the TRASH. Oobleck should never be put into plumbing.

SUPPLIES
– 2 cups cornstarch
– 1 cup water
– bowl
– measuring utensils
– food coloring (optional)

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
Science from Home is a video project that Librarian Molly created so kids and caregivers can follow along with fun science experiments every week. The experiments in this series are loosely based on science standards for grade 4 for the state of Washington, and the explanations are also geared toward this age group.

However, kids of all ages and families can enjoy these fun experiments and hopefully learn something new! Some of the main themes include energy, waves, Earth, organisms, and humans.
