Edit: I’ve seen some comments so I need to clarify I DID NOT MAKE THIS. It was never the intention to make it seem like I made this. I even had the show it is from in the title. It was my favorite part so I wanted to isolate the clip.

This explains why Ganymede's words pissed him off so much

He is afraid of being alone.

Might also explain why he is so serious about them staying in their orbits. He doesn't want them to collide or get ejected and then he would be alone.

Not many people are talking about the voice acting here. Seriously, the voice actor did amazing for little sun!

I feel bad for Him.
I'm impressed how even tho he isn't sane he cares about his Planets.
For ex. He was worried when Earth was coming close to him and he is constantly worried losing them and that's why he constantly tells them to stay in orbit

If i was a star i would stick with him and become a binary system so he would recover from that ptsd. Its one of those things you wish you could’ve stopped

Interesting how they don’t bully Proxima Centauri for being a smaller red dwarf but apparently respect her as an equal from what little we can see here. Shows that stars might be less classist than the planets are! (Though we still need to wait until we see them interacting with brown dwarfs...)

Whenever i see this scane i imagine the meeting in solarballs office going like this
"Alright we need ideas to the sun backstory"
"Lets make him only a few seconds after bieng born get bullied and then he witness a star going supernova but he also gets hit by it"
