Shayne’s depth as a human is what made me enjoy Smosh more… I remember them showing up at his apartment one time and seeing how well read he is. Anyone that has kept up with smosh after anthony left knows how critical and talented Shayne is. He’s remained imo one of the funniest people on all of YouTube while remaining a humble and nice guy.

shayne was the first person i gravitated towards when i went back to smosh after anthony left, and it's been so cool to watch him grow into a pillar of smosh. he's such an incredible performer, love seeing what he does now & excited to see what he does as his career continues!

Watching Anthony absolutely lose it during Shayne's Tom Cruise impersonation was insanely hilarious. You can tell that Anthony legitimately loves Shayne, it's so wholesome!

Man, at the beginning, when Anthony started listing all the eras Shayne went through, I got so sad. These people carried Smosh through it's darkest times but they were so underappreciated because people were blinded with nostalgia of old Smosh. Shayne, Courtney, Damien etc. truly are the unsung heroes of Smosh.

Shayne seriously rules, him being popular enough to have his own thing going, but just not doing it because being around the others is just too fun... is so genuine and heartwarming. Jeez. Im floored. Massive talent and heart. Courtney and him kept the dream alive, now Amanda and Angela are also just such fun stand-outs. This era is peak.
