25 injured in Petronas gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights

At least 25 people were injured in a massive fire that erupted at a Petronas gas pipeline in Putra Heights early this morning, with victims suffering burns, breathing difficulties, and other injuries.

Several homes have also caught fire following the incident, officials said.

The height of the gas pipeline blaze was extraordinary, with flames shooting high into the sky, their orange glow visible for kilometers around.

A Bernama survey at the nearby temple revealed that several Ministry of Health (MOH) personnel were working tirelessly to administer first aid to the victims, most of whom suffered from burns, injuries, and breathing difficulties.

It is reported that five victims have been transferred to Serdang Hospital for further treatment.

The fire won’t be able to be defeated due to the oil, firefighters usually use water to defeat fires but since oil and water will create more fire there’s no way to defeat this time

.. around 50 people are being treated in hospitals due to the incident .. the heat can be felt from miles away so just imagine those living or happen to be in the vicinity .. images of the plastic parts of cars melting, roofs of homes on fire, hot debris falling
.. but this is much much much less severe in terms of lives/assets loss than the very recent Mandalay 7.4 Earthquake with 1, 700+ casualties; even a high rise building😢 in Bangkok crashed down due to the tremors .. down to a huge concrete rubble with workers still buried inside
