Currently it is underperforming.
The AIM-9L on my AH-1Z preforms WAY better all aspects, not on the A-10 for some reason

The problem with them right now is they are coded where they track every plane as if they are going Mach .8 instead of their actual speed so it over and under compensates dramatically missing alot

A-10 has best aim-9 missile but it is not capable at going supersonic while almost every other jets can. So in my opinion, best way to play it is ground pounding in ground rb

It is inconsistant as hell. It missed in my case a mig 23 going up straight, no flares, nothing, it just missed. Or a mig 21 mf which had no flares unlocked. Just misses. Launched it from 3km in a headon and still.Then again it sometimes just performs amazingly, ignoring flares and pulling strong gs. And before anyone starts crying again mimimi a10 would be op if it worked better, i use it on the f104s asa. The A10 shouldn't have gotten it in the first place as it is too hard to balance.

there is a range 2km for it to lock in front aspect. maybe if you guys can read then you didnt have to make this video becuz ive been facing lots of aim9L hitting me from the front

The new AGM65D sucks. it has less zoom than the B and the thermal sucks. Its not historically accurate considering the AGM65D should have the same optical zoom as the B

In my experience it misses 80% of the fucking time
