You can spray scotchguard on mouse pads to make them a little faster. Scotchguard isn't really meant to be touched a ton so it'll wear off after awhile

When I went from a hard mousepad to a clothpad my skills improved. I think its important to feel feedback, especially for tracking.

The reason for this is because glass is so smooth that the mouse tracking is really bad, mouse tracking work better on rougher surfaces

Dont get glass mousepad with glass skates it will just scratch and there will be wayyy more friction than a normal mousepad with glass skates or a glass mousepad with normal skates
