Dr. William Camann, Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, describes new procedures, developed by doctors and nurses at the Center for Labor and Birth, to make delivery by cesarean section more family-centered.

I wish I had something like this at the hospital I had my daughter. It was so straightforward and I was so out of it from the medication it didn’t felt like a beautiful moment. I could only count my blessings that my daughter is healthy. ❤

This makes me so happy. I was going to ask if I could try out this technique and then find out that the hospital I will be at already does it and even has YouTube videos up about it :) Great job BWH!

I’m currently pregnant and my placenta is sitting on my cervix if it doesn’t move though I know I’ll have my baby by C- section so it’s good to get as much info as I can about it
