How to make ductwork quiet

Aren’t you concerned the fiberglass liner will introduce tiny fiberglass dust into the air and you’ll be breathing that in?

Can you use a 3m spray adhesive. Even though it says the fumes are flammable?

my ductwork has an interior liner.  however, it consists of smaller pieces against the walls, floor, and ceiling, and is not supported by glue or screws.  if i were to punch the duct work, a couple ceiling or wall "tiles" would collapse and block the air.  all the spongy fibrous material would fly into my house, too.  i'm pretty peeved.

My air handler is quite noisy and I plan on doing something similar.  However, it appears that instead of using duct liner pins, you used sheet metal screws with strapping.  I guess this is quite a bit faster than using adhesive pins?  Another question is how much duct liner to use.  Will covering 5 liner feet of duct result in a noticeable improvement?  10 feet?  Is it more advantageous to install it in bends rather than straight sections of the duct?

This acoustic lining follows which standards? I mean, in terms of not affecting the smoothness of air inside the duct system.

Not sure I like the idea of loose fiberglass particles being pumped around my house!!
