Are socialists “liars?” Depends on your definition — and whether they truly believe what they say. But this much is for sure: they tell and/or believe in lies.

Those lies, though, are persuasive to a lot of people. Once upon a time, they were even persuasive to our Story Editor, who in this video comes clean as a former Bernie Bro who believed in his politics and in democratic socialism.

Cuba's economy declined not because of the American embargo, it's because of the collapse of Cuba's biggest ally-the Soviet Union-in 1991.

This has always been a irritating argument to me, is that people will claim that the west trading with other countries is exploitation and stealing resources, then spin around and claim that Cuba is poor because of an embargo of trade preventing us from exploiting and taking their resources, then claim we should stop our own trade in the US to benefit US workers, than claim we should prevent trade with Russia to damage their economy. So trade is bad, unless it's Cuba where it would be good, unless its the US where allowing trade is bad for the economy, unless it's Russia where allowing trade is good for the economy.
They flip flop on trade 30 times, never coming to a conclusion.

Are you sure bout that - do some more research- so you don’t think making illegal to trade has anything to do about economic prosperity. It’s not trading with Usa and it’s United nation and it’s all the allies and other countries and nations under European/ colonial rule - which is many countries.
