I've just started watching film-making tutorials on youtube. A lot of channels either have so much wank that they are intolerable (ie: trying to be funny or cool without actually telling you anything) or aren't that impressive. Hay  great tips, John You The Bomb!!! But the biggest bang'n tip is that lens you recommended. The background is what I'm looking for to stand out in my productions. I actually took your suggestion and just purchased a Helios 44 zebra lens 58mm f2 Rare zenit pentax ussr m39 mount russian from Ebay. Definitely respect and appreciate your expertise.
