Bert Kaempfert - Java (1964) (featuring Manfred Moch)

From the 1964 album Blue Midnight, Bert Kaempfert performs his version of the song Java. It was composed by Allen Toussaint and was an instrumental hit twice, first for pianist Floyd Cramer and then for trumpeter Al Hirt. Kaempfert's version features solo trumpeter Manfred Moch, who played many of the solos on Kaempfert's hit records in the 1960s, and was also a regular player with James Last and the NDR Big Band, among many others.
