finally it worked for me. I pushed the pin for 5mins and it finally worked. before, I did it many times for 1-2mins and nothing happened.
I had not used my gamesir controller for over 1 year and the battery probably died. if you click the reset button and put the usb cable in, you are forcing electricity into the battery. depending on how dead you battery is, it can take 5mins. once you reach a good minimal charge that the controller can detect, it will run from there. It can be 1min or even 5mins if you battery is really dead from not being used for a long time.

You said if the controller doesn't shut down automatically after 30 minutes it should charge, but if it does shut down? Do you think the battery is dead? Because for me it's blinking than stops than back again, than stops, over and over.

Thanks so much for this video! I used an iOS SIM card tool and use the same steps and now my Gamesir x2 is charging.

my X2 control was not working I thought was brocked until I see your video ...

Great, ,,,Now if only you could add an option to invert the Y - Axis on the right stick in button mapping to invert look up/down without the X - Axis being inverted, ,that would make the button mapping somewhat complete.

this doesnt work my x2 bluetooth turns on then turns off after a few minutes

Absolute garbage. Bought brand new and it was faulty straight out of the box. Good thing I didn't pay full price for this trash.
Edit: managed to save it from the trash bin (kept flashing orange led before shutting off after 30 secs) by holding the reset button down for longer, like 4-5 mins, then leaving it to charge until led turns green.

Ok so it flashes green for a second after I do it but now instead of flashing orange, it's flashing pink? It stays on so its gotta be charging right? It cut off almost immediately before. I'm so lost right now. Flashing pink and green alternately.

Yeah, this is why i ordered a Gamesir X2 Pro instead. I think BT is cool, but for PPSSPP Games, specially Patapon 3, latency can be an issue.
