Setting Your Volvo Driver Profile

This video shows you how to set your individual driver profile & tie it to your key fob.

You will have to take both keys to a Volvo dealership & have the orange key “deprogrammed”. Depending on the dealership, they may charge you an hour labor to do so. When Volvo first introduced the orange key, it came set up as a share key but most people wanted it as a second key instead so they made the change, now you have to program it to be a share key if desired.

Hi! Thanks for the video. I'm trying to do it but the notifications screen just doesn't slide; when I grab the screen from the top and drag it down, nothing happens. It may be locked somehow? Thank yoy!

What do you do when your "profiles" on the Driver Profile screen are grayed out? It will not allow for any Driver Profile entries. You merely encounter a dead screen.

To arp76 regarding “none of this works”. Are you using the “orange key”? If so, it is a share key primarily for first time drivers, there is also a “red key”. With these keys you can set a maximum speed. If you use valet parking, have your car serviced or loan your Volvo to someone use these keys. The orange key is not programmable to profile settings. This is what I was looking for but you punch the menu items and sometimes don't tell us what you're selecting. Frustrating. Try it again - just a bit slower please.
