2019 Volvo T6 AWD Momentum

Connectivity and infotainment
All new Volvos are connected, thanks to Volvo’s connectivity and infotainment system called Sensus. It delivers an intuitive touch screen interface that combines car functions, navigation, connected services and in-car entertainment applications such as Spotify, Pandora, Baidu or TuneIn. The portrait-oriented touch screen enables easy and fast access to a host of functions and features. As in the 90 Series cars, smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is also available.

Powertrain technology
The V60 is powered by Volvo’s Drive-E powertrains. Apart from petrol and diesel variants, the V60 is also available with two plug-in hybrid options: the new T6 Twin Engine AWD petrol plug-in hybrid that generates a combined 340hp or the T8 Twin Engine AWD petrol plug-in that delivers 390hp.

Volvo’s Twin Engine plug-in hybrid delivers all the benefits of a high performance, low emission petrol engine with an electric motor that delivers power on demand with ultralow CO2 emissions and more than 40 km of pure electric range.

Safety and driver assistance
Volvo’s leadership in the field of automotive safety is confirmed in the V60. The SPA platform has resulted in the strongest Volvo cars to date because of extensive use of boron steel, as well as numerous safety systems designed to protect people inside and outside the car.

Volvo’s City Safety technology, standard on all Volvo models, combines automatic braking functionality and collision avoidance systems to cover a range of potential accident scenarios and help keep you safe. City Safety is the only system on the market that detects pedestrians, cyclists and large animals such as moose and deer.

The Pilot Assist driver assistance system, optional on the V60, works up to 130 km/h on clearly marked roads and is another step towards Volvo’s Vision 2020, which states that no one should be killed or seriously injured in a new Volvo by 2020.

Almost every Volvo Sensus infotainment tutorial video fails to mention that Volvo offers free software system upgrades for the first 4yrs/50, 000 miles of ownership. Almost every function from navigation maps to driver safety assistance features can be updated by the owner (via USB downloads from Volvo's website) or installed at a Volvo dealership. Basically every late model Volvo can have nearly the same newer tech features as the current model year Volvo's. The German luxury automakers sure don't offer that service without the additional financial sodomizing for owners.

Hi Mike, thanks for your very well video explanation of Sensus. I drive a Volvo V60 T5 Momentem Pro from 2019 and in my main menu from Sensus every 4 options for: fuel consumption have a full black background. In your video I see you have different colours per item. Do you know how I can get these items in colour? Thanks in advance

hi Mike. a great video review on the settings on my new Volvo. Awesome!!!
But perhaps turn off the auto focus on your camera next time so that 1/2 the video does not focus on your arm and not the-touch screen.
