[FIXED] Microsoft Outlook has stopped working

you rock! I went ahead and disabled hardware accelaration once I was able to access the options menu.
I had started to freak out after 3rd attempt and outlook crashing.

If you delete the ost file every mails in inbox will get deleted

No outlook under Microsoft folder .In Windows 10 2017 outlook mail is closer to outlook 2013 distributed in Microsoft discs sold in 2017. Outlook is not (Outlook 2016 or later format as you would think you bought included In your new OS Microsoft software, in other words Microsoft 2013 outlook mail is what youre buying from Microsoft in 2017/2018 Windows 10. Good vid at least I found out what version Microsoft sold me in oct 2017. A 2013 version of Outlook Mail as a new Windows 10 OS for a 2017 price.

Easy to follow and fixed my problem. Yay! But, lost ALL Contacts and calendar data. If I needed to back up pst file, that would have been VERY helpful information. Cannot recover this data :(

Use scanPST.exe to repair your Outlook Data file in case your Outlook is not working due to corrupt Outlook Data File. But if your PST file is larger than 2 GB, scanPST tool might not work, in that case, use any third party tool to repair your corrupt Data File(.pst). I have used 'Stellar Repair for Outlook' and it worked amazing for my Outlook.

it fixes for about 2 weeks or so then happens again and again and again ... common MS! Amazingly it stopped doing this when I switched to eM Client.
