this video makes me feel uncomfortable, no intro, no "this video is sponsored by Skillshare or RAID shadow legends", everything just feels so quick and straight to the point

Unlike those other youtubers you actually got to the point from the start of the video
now thats what i call quality

Good. We're 1/3rd of the way there. But we still need to figure out how to mimic the missing Z-Buffer and the vertex snapping.

Also, I really appreciate how you launched straight into the explanation without wasting my time with a history lesson or an intro.

I wish I was rendered in PS1 graphics.

Funny how that now we all have the latest tech that make games look almost real, we find that older games are a lot more charming as interesting as a result

My favorite part is where you immediately started the video with the tutorial. No intro. No sellout. And I love that.

When I first watched this video(2 or 3 years ago now), I was frustrated at how easy it looked and how I couldn't get the same results. Years later, I've learned blender to a degree and feel confident that I can make ps1 style graphics in blender with little fuss. I wanted to rewatch this video, since its important to remember where you start. If you're at the stage I was at 3 years ago, don't worry. When your desire to do something outweighs the pain of learning, you'll get there. Don't give up.

I pretty much do this professionally at this point, and this is an incredibly good rundown on how to do PS1 style models, to the point, informative and everything.
Though one thing I think might be good to mention is that PS1 games generally used 8 bit colours for textures, so textures should have 256 colour palette. (it could have more, but not really used)

Just turn on vertex lighting in your material settings and you basically end up with gouraud shading :)

30 years from now: hmm how could I make the charming bad quality Red Dead 2 graphics that are so nostalgic and bad compared to my Ultra Ray Tracing ultra realistic photo real life simulator.

I've looked for the longest time for tutorials on this style, you have no idea how much I wanted this.

Although this isn't exactly the style I'm going for, since I'm more of an early PS2 style type of guy, so I'll just use this as a starting point but still, thank you!
