Should this V8 go in the El Camino instead of LV3 V6?
Should I dyno test it at Westech?
This one was pretty basic build….junkyard core L83, LT4 valve springs, LT5 cam (new was only $125 from Scoggin Dickee), LS3 single bolt cam sprocket(no VVT), non-DOD lifters (GM LS7 style), muscle car oil pan. Running the stock coils with Performance Electronics PE3-IG2 ecu. Holley 750 carb on single plane LS3 intake with ICT intake adapters. All the standard ICT Billet parts for Dod delete.

So since the fuel line on the carb is disconnected where does the fuel come from?

I'm confused. No fuel line connected, but I imagine the bowls were filled, and the passenger header front tube is cut right before the collector?

What alll wires are needed to get one to run like this? I've been hearing cam/crank position and then obviously all on 12v ignition box. What else goes into it? Is it faurly simple?
