Now we're talking. Though I still wish she looked more like a goddess of witchcraft and not just any generic fantasy mage.
Also, I hope it's just her ult that is based on her role as goddess of crossroads, and not her whole kit. Then we're kinda just getting a different version of Janus.

Fantastic. Please, take your time with Smite2. What you did with Hecate can be done with many aspects of the game. We prefer a good game over a game that comes out fast

If I had to change one thing, I would turn her larger wand into another torch. She's known for having two torches after all.

Step 2: Hecate Ult entire team into spawn camp
(Optional step:) Wall or cage them in spawn camp
Step 3: Watch them all die
Step 4: Rush their Titan and win

Super cool. Think of the fire giant pulls. Whole team almost kills fire then you pull them out and maybe someone on your team steps in and finishes it.

Now THAT was an ultimate. The 1 is definitely unfinished but it does look a little interesting so far especially since it looks like she has multiple charges and once they hit it looks like they stop for another function briefly? Looking forward to seeing that new 3 as well since that too was super underwhelming.

She’s definitely starting to feel more like HECATE.

00:39 hope to see this alternate ui available in the next playtest was my favorite by far. Much easier to see your active cooldowns if you're used to the smite 1 placement of active items on the right side

I must agree its odd they chose to focus on aspect of transitioning on hecate when they already have janus ... I think they should focus more on her as the goddess of witchraft (black magic, rituals and stuff). In this game she seems more like an arcane sorceress. Though I completely agree with him some gods are easy to make bcs they only have one or two affiliations and some like Hecate have many, but I don't agree with the fact that transitioning should be her strongest suit.
Personally I am waiting for arachne and persephone and I Really REALLY hope they will be treated fairly (not like poor hades 😅).

I wish they'd do sth about her appearance though. She looks like every single generic female mage you'd see in a cards game or other media. Put a cape give her a staff and it's all done... Her lore is so rich and they could have done so much more with her. That just doesn't scream mother of witchcraft.

Love the rework and how Hirez is hearing and working with player feedback! It looks beautiful and fits her theme so much better. I hope the trend continues and we get even more improvements like this in Smite 2! Definitely prefer a good game over a rushed one :D
