Guy that keeps complaining about the Accord sound system here- One thing Honda likes to do and I've noticed in various of their models is to pump basically all the bass through the front speakers, none through the back. They overload the fronts and don't do anything with the rear. At least in these new models they aren't just getting rid of all the sub bass like they were doing with the Accord and previous gen Civic.

Fun fact - the previous gen system found in the 10th gen Civic (5 inch screen), 9th gen Accord, and 10th gen Accord (non-touchscreen 7 inch radio) has a hidden menu where you can turn off the factory EQ and it brings back all the bass in the rear speakers AND brings back the sub bass, giving more power. Sadly in these newer Android-based systems found in the 10th gen Accord and all the new Hondas, you can't disable the factory EQ or use an external Android app as Panasonic (the OEM used for Honda radios) locks the OS down REALLY well.

Anyways, love these demo vids! It's fun to compare how different car radios sound!

I have the same car. The stock system is pretty weak and flat. I just installed a JBL base Hub in my trunk, and it has improved the sound quality a lot.

Some companies phone in the sound systems, and others like Mazda give you more than what you pay for. They also do very well for steering feel, less well for gas mileage and back seat and luggage space. I like the base model Ford Maverick hybrid truck, but it definitely needs better speakers added aftermarket.
