These ipods were durable as hell. I had a couple from a while ago and they were dropped so many times, at one point I even used a hammer and a nail to test the durability of it. These things would not break compared to the new apple watches.

I loved mine. During my school’s charity fundraiser day, they had one they were raffling off. $3 per entry. It also had like 300 songs preloaded (mostly bootlegged, but as a 13 year old, I couldn’t care less). I entered on a whim because why not. It was actually a really cool way to raffle as well. You chose a song from the ones preloaded, then they would all be put in a playlist, and hit shuffle. Whichever played was the winner. I think my song was Fly by Justice Crew, I’m not sure. I just remember it was called Fly. Anyways, as you could tell, I won. I occasionally used it for step tracking and music, eventually got a watchband too. Loved it. Unfortunately I was hit by a car a few years later whilst on my bike, and whilst I walked away without a scratch, the screen was kinda smashed up. It still worked though. We bought a replacement, but all these years, still haven’t gotten around to putting it back on. I’d like to one day, cause I want a dedicated offline music player that isn’t my phone, for obvious reasons, and iPods just cost so much these days

I remember rocking this in school, had the earbuds going through my sleeve and if a teacher said to give them my phone I pullet the jack out and said don't have a phone on me, its not hooked up to anything, , never got caught 🤣

I had this in 2012 while in middle school. Everyone thought it was crazy as hell! I lost mine one day, but it was super fun while I had it! Thanks for the nostalgia trip. 😆

Idk if it still exists in current smartphones but at the time using the headphone jack as the radio antenna as well as having a radio app was pretty good, especially when you didn’t know how to download or pirate music

One of my relatives gifted these to me since i was talking about it so much back in the day, late but not the least i did manage to save up and get myself a strapb just like the one in the video and it was like the coolest smartwatch on the planet earth. Yeah, times were tough for me back in those days
