Oppo Find X2 Pro Review | Two months later

Review of the Oppo Find X2 Pro two months after I first got my hands on it, including a look at the durability, battery life, performance, PubG and gaming prowess, and camera tech. This super-premium smartphone costs a bomb but you get better hardware than most other flagships here on the Find X2 Pro. From Oppo's impressive display to the sleek design, there's a lot to love. As long as you have the money for it.

But here's a look at my longer term impressions of the Oppo Find X2 Pro, including the everyday experience of using it as your personal phone. It's definitely a great handset, although that price tag is rather high when you consider you can bag a OnePlus 8 or Realme X50 Pro for less than half the cash. Sporting similarly premium specs, if not quite the same level of next-gen hardware.

I bit the bullet and went for the X2 pro and so glad I did. This feels like the most premium phone I've ever owned. The camera is superb and the phone itself runs incredibly smoothly. Down to 599 UK pounds now, a great price.

March 2023- Hone has just updated to Color OS 13, and Android 13. Seems to run better than ever! So pleased with this phone. Did have an issue with Google Messages, but it sorted itself out somehow.

I've had this phone for closer to a year and I have to speak the truth.. This is one of the best phone of not the best phone I have ever had. The display is sharp and crisp. 6.7 screen yet the phone seems quite small in the hands as compared to my note 9 which has a 6. 4 inch screen but the phone seems much more bulky. The smoothness and speed of the phone is excellent due to the 12gb ram. Super charging is top notch. Storage at 512gb is beyond what I need (and I need a lot). An absolutely cracker of a phone and I wouldn't change it even for the oppo 5x Pro which only has 256gb internal storage.

Ordered the s20 ultra, despite the 120hz /Qhd issue, rear camera glass breaking issue, and the lack of snapdragon in favour of exonos in my area. waited 2 months as their was a stock problems with the 512 memory with 12g ram, so super hyped to switch to the oppo find x2, better processor, able to run 120hz and quad HD, simular cameras, negotiable battery life with a bonus of a 65w charger. For me this is a win win. Ordered on EE for June 10th.

Thanks for the reviews and please keep up the good work. There is one thing that every reviewer seems to miss. The moving object focus on this is horrible. I had an Xperia 1 before and generally got a high keeper rate of pics of my kids. With this it's more like one in 20. Virtually everything is blurred if there is the slightest movement! The eye autofocus and predictive capture on the Sony greatly add to that handset's appeal. I'm so sad I bought this now as I'm stuck with it. If you like landscapes and set portraits, you're fine, it's amazing. Beware folks

The issue I have with Oppo are the small UI quirks that are totally different to say One UI from Samsung. After using Samsung for so long you get used to the Menus, UI etc.

Great review of an outstanding phone. It is literally perfect.
Even the absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack is not an issue as the OPPO comes with USB Headphones.

Looking to upgrade around march 2021 from a hauwei p20pro
Which has been quite flawless.
Been with voda on the same number for 21 years.
I have virgin at home for telly and broadband.
And they do what seems a pretty darn good deal for this phone

I was always pro Samsung but having 2 hauwei phones .
I'm not worried about the bug brands. And I just don't do apple.
This seems like a really good option at the moment.
