72 Hours with the Oppo Find X2 Pro - Galaxy S20 Ultra Killer? | The Tech Chap

I've been testing the Oppo Find X2 Pro - and it's incredible! Oppo's 2020 flagship phone boasts a refreshed design (hole-punch instead of pop-up camera!), 6.7-inch QHD+ & 120hz screen, Snapdragon 865, 65w SuperVOOC 2 charging & Triple Camera Setup! So here's my first review after 72 hours with the Oppo Find X2 Pro!

Got to watch Oppo with the software. I had the Find 7 which was great but they'd update the OS and rip out some features, ones I found quite useful like screen on gestures. They also swapped the alarm controls for swipe to snooze, tap to turn off which resulted in an unplanned lie in. Hardware is great though.

This phone looks incredible. Especially in the leather back. The price is too high IMO, I will not but a device at this price when I know that after 1 year the price should be around half of that.

2 things, it has the Option to enable 120hz at QHD which is better than Samsungs S20 Ultra, however Samsung will add this feature in the next month or two. Lastly 512gb as standard is great but again Samsung gives the option of expandable storage all be it at an extra cost. For me I would rather buy a Ultra which features a bigger 5000Mah battery and wait a month or two to get the 120hz at WQHD which means everything on the Ultra is topped out. This is still a great option should the price drop faster than Samsungs in the coming months and year.

Very tempting after what I've heard about the ultra. Which I was going to wait till next year anyway to perfect it. The ultra is still very good for a first attempt. The find 2 is great but the night shots on the ultra were stunning

I'm torn between this and the Exynos version of the s21+. In my country (Australia) this is currently 1200 aud whereas the s21+ starts at 1600. In probably going to go with this device.
