What I always thought is that one tower right next to castle doom showed a Dr Doom face when the island spawned in so I just assumed

I’ve had it 5 times. Died once avoiding it and tried to kill doom (came close), realised that’s not a good option. Captured it once and won. Other times I died in the frantic fight for it. I’d recommend the opposite of going in right away. Head to the island once it spawns but don’t get involved. Instead, wait for most of the chaos to end, then fight whoever’s left standing and claim it. Trying to fight 5/6 people at once is just gonna get you killed in solos.

A tip for you guys is to have Mysterio's mythic shotgun and medalion. Once the island spawns and you get there crouch so you are invisible regardless if someone came or not

I used a jetpack, ranger pistol, sov shotty, and striker burst to kill the ppl while avoiding dmg.

0:56 I think that Aoe damage items and shockwaves are a worthwhile choice to take if you can take them, especially against players without a jetpack.
Just a suggestion of course.

For anyone wondering when it spawns, it always spawns as soon as the 4th zone hits, otherwise the island is just not spawning in that game

Thanos og item: dropped in regular br like this.
Thanos item also: dropped " randomly" on the map, not, at a specific location everyone knew to go too. Also: it didn require you to do certian steps to aquire it: like capturing the island and then capturing the big caldrun pot.

Thanos item could just be picked up after it dropped. Simple as that.

Thanos item also dropped after the 2nd storm phase. Not the 4th phase lile dooms is.

Also: thanos item could be picked up by another player if the original player died who got it first.

An yes that process could repeat multiple times in the same game.

Thanos item also: dropped every game. Not this 5 % drop chance bull crap.

Overall dooms item sucks in battle royal compared to thanos.

Its not nearly as good.

Of what I would is go to doom castle and make your way to restored reels and see if that's spawning doom island

Just so you know when you open the map and look to the left side where it tells you the storm damage it'll say "Storm _ out of 12." In my experience it always spawns in at Storm 4, but there is a rare chance the island just won't spawn in at all. I've also noticed that island likes to spawn in blank areas of the map. Basically, a place with hills or nothing around or maybe near a POI, but NEVER on/in a POI

I chased him round the map watching him take 13 down to 3 and ended up killing him and finishing the match. Kinda felt embarrassed for him, essentially gaining immortality and still losing the VR 😂

I got the island 2 times and became doom every time. Both times i only had to face one person. And when i first became doom i won the game.

bro i killed 3 squads and still didn't die and then i died to last person and my squad killed him too ez

I had 2 games spawn it back to back. Nobody got it during the first game and in the 2nd game nobody even tried to jump doom. The all jumped me and another guy that was fighting doom. Then he wiped all of them in short order
