I do in fact have two spare 100W panels I can do this with. And your Right ! The sellers charge WAY OVER the top! on folding panels.

Nice video man! I had this idea in my head but wanted to see some other examples. I've seen a few, but like you, I'd also chose to have the panels fold on top of eachother so the glass it not exposes when folded up. Less likely to get damaged in transit.

Fantastic job. I have been thinking about making one of these for a while now. You just convinced to do it. Thank you. Keep up the good work

There is a suitcase version for only $60 more. To me, it was worth it (I bought two) because I don't want to deal with the DIY aspect at this time. However, I applaud anyone who follows the advice in this excellent video.

Great video! For what I was going to spend at goalzero, I could get double the power for half the price with this setup. Thank you so much for sharing!

Only found your channel today. Great info in your vids. Respectful suggestion, if you want to make your fold up panels even easier n quicker to set up- just slot the holes on the aluminium angle brace. Simply slip on n off then n tighten screws without removing them.

I find that Marine GOOP works very well outside and you can get it off if you really need to.
Good project. I made one like that and added a carrying handle on the side.

Just finished building my own suitcase with 2 x 50watt Renogy panels, inspired by your video.

For the same price I could have bought a lower quality kit, with cheap ass panels. Cheers!

Very cool, just be aware using Stainless Steel screws and hinges on aluminum will cause a galvanic reaction and corrosion. Just swap them out with zinc coated.

The lies are even worse when it comes to batteries. Amazon needs to start cracking down on these people.

I really appreciate this review as I'm looking to buy solar panels for my new set up and don't want to pay popular brand name prices. Thank you!

Hahaha! God Bless you, ENMore! What a good human being you are. Not only are you competent, you are a sage & Shaowline Monk humanitarian!! :) Another great video full of great, "competently clear" information. I'm so glad I found you. Hopefully one day I will be to afford to help support your great video. I'm old, discriminated against machinist just trying to make it between jobs. Yeah, it sucks, but remember I live in a shit town, Baltimore where ability, skill and conscientiousness is not appreciated.... Best vid I've seen yet!

Maybe not quite as convenient, but you could just keep the stock cables. Maybe use some velcro to keep them neat during transportation. Brings the difficulty level of this from 7/10 to 2/10. Also, that way you could scale up the array even more, make another one of these and connect 4 panels in series. The Bluetti can handle it.

i appreicate your throwing in the last bit about those panels who have exaggerated specs. i have ordered many panels and they came this week and this weekend im going to get to the bottom of what all these panels can do. also, like you said they are over priced on top of it all. i dont understand how/why you were using a headlamp as a load. that trick would be handy if i understood what you were doing, have the same watt meters btw
