I did post a YT has obviously censored and deleted ( which is not unusual during these suspicious times! ) which said that I changed my new page address to 'google', but there is not a 'save', 'ok' or 'confirm' button and therefore when I close my settings window and open another tab, nothing has changed. I still get a blank page....
