I'm so glad you're finally doing a series on this subject!! I've been just using foam insulation to make my props but I've been looking into mold making for a while now to get a better result. Can't wait for the next vid!! Thanks Bill!

Holy Christmas Bill.... Thank You!!! I've been overwhelmed by trying to figure out which silicone to use for months. While it hasn't been my largest barrier to starting a mold/casting project, it has definitely been a big one. Can't wait for the rest of the series.

Thank Bill. I plan on casting Imperial Tie fighter pilot helmets once I finish building. Your videos will come in handy.

I can't wait to see the rest of this series~! Moldmaking has always been something that I've been interested in starting, but it seems incredibly daunting to get into. I really enjoy your style of breaking everything down and explaining different things. Thank you!

Great overview. Hoping you will cover an explanation of what type of mold silicone is best for which kind of applications.

I have and I also have tried the Mold star 15 (not sure if I remember it right but it is the cute green silicone) and I used it for a small item but ANYWAY what was I going to say is it let out the air bubbles by itself! I didn't see any after casting but I saw them coming up when the curing started. I don't know if it works like that always but I was pleasantly surprised :)

smooth cast and vyta flex are my favs. Am currently doing a project where I will need a rigid mold and to make a flexible cast. I hope and pray it works

I've been doing silicone molds for a few years but I definitely learned some stuff! Is there a video on making vacuum formed plastic molds for resin in the lineup?

You should definitely do a video on making fiberglass molds! its a very helpful mold making technique for casting objects in fiberglass

Awesome video can't wait for more! When you get to casting will you cover the different types of cold casting? From powdering the mold to different mix ratios of the metal to resin. I've read of it done in many different ways and would like to know what works best.
