When I was in high school (more than a decade ago), I also had rabbits, and the way we used to determine the sex was by feeling if the rabbit had testes or not. This, however, could only be done when the rabbits were more mature and the testes had developed, and wasn't possible with younger rabbits. I'm just not sure at what age the testes "drop" so you can determine it that way. Do you perhaps know?

Is it normal out of 12 rabbits to have 2 females and 10 males born out of two litters? I was sorting them between two new tractors because some mating behaviors were starting at two months. I raise a large breed so I typically wait until 2.5 to 3 months before processing.
