This song hurts on such a deeper level for me. Had a rough childhood. My sister and I bounced in and out of the foster care system way too much. Lots of empty hopes and dreams of being able to live with my biological parents as a happy family. Then you get to a point where you realise it just isn't going to happen. Then the betrayal and resentment kicks in for those dreams would never become a reality. My sister and I ended up adopted together to then have our new father fall into alcoholism and out of our lives, yet another betrayal.

Atleast I know how NOT to be a dad.. Thank you so much for such a beautiful rendition of this amazing song.
