Snuff. A slipknot song, rerecorded.

A lot of people wanted to see my hands the first time i did this, and some didn't think i was playing but the gear i had at the time knocked it out of sync ., so here is the cleaner version , i don't think it will have the recognition the first one had though. And Marshall still likes to hear it.

What made Johnny Cash’s version of Hurt so impactful was his age. It’s something that Trent Reznor couldn’t replicate the depth in his lyrics and performance because Johnny added a timeline to the song. In Hurt you can feel a struggle…but in Cash’s hurt you absolutely know it’s been a life time of suffering.

With respect to you Sir, you have had a profound effect on this song for much of the same reasons. You softened the tone of the song which took away the original angst and replaced it with pain. And your age added a timeline to this song. We get an entirely new performance out of your version. It’s much more of story in that sense. Loved every second of it.
