ein tolles Video! Ich studiere selbst an der Uni Bochum angewandte IT-Sicherheit und habe mich daher bereits mit den Themen auseinandergesetzt (auch bei Christof Paar). Deine Erläuterungen sind echt super und besonders die direkte Verknüpfung zu Bitcoin und Blockchain im Allgemeinen ist sehr spannend.

Great videos . It's been a great help for an economist like me trying to understand economic value of cryptography. My question is do we use mod p (prime modulus) for bitcoin EC or do we use the mod n? On a video by "AsecuritySite" they were saying mod n (the cofactor of the generator I guess) . R they used in different scenarios?

Hallo Julian,

an welcher Stelle im Bitcoin-Algorithmus wird denn ECC verwendet? Ich dachte es würde nur Sha256 benutzt, was ja "nur" eine Hashfunktion ist.

Hello Julian, thank you very much for the entire course. Although I am not a very skilled English speaker, I understood everything. But the next issue I'll watch again in german. Provided there is a german version :-)
