First Look: InvisaGig 5g Cellular Adapter X62

The InvisaGig is a new device designed to do one thing - provide a 5G cellular connection via Ethernet.

While the InvisaGig looks like a router, it has no router capabilities. We consider this a Cellular Adapter.

It's currently available from The Wireless Haven for $649.99. We have an evaluation unit in for testing courtesy of InvisaGig and The Wireless Haven and our members can follow along with our testing and will have access to our comprehensive review once it's complete.

I watched this and then went to their website and I still have no idea what this product could actually do.

Correction: at 1:17 the reviewer says that you have to hook the InvisGig to a "cellular router" for multi-device access. That is not true. The InvisaGig is simply a modem, just like a good old-fashioned cable modem. All you need is a router - not something called a cellular router. Don't be misled. You don't need to go shopping for a cellular capable router. Any router will do - whether you build it yourself and put pfSense or OPNSense on it, or you buy some Netgear or TP-Link router from Best Buy. It's not that complicated.
