Get rid of the decals and change interior to black and I'm in love! And I'm a GM guy. Ford outdid themselves in styling. The hideaway headlamps, the rear solid taillights all the way across. Just beautiful! You consistently show and tell the cars my dreams are made of.

Had one similar bought in Colorado Springs after my 2nd tour in Nam. It was the cobra jet same paint used as the pace car for the Pikes race. Had black seats and black convertible top. Traded a 69 mustang blue Mach 1 after metal flaking the flat black hood red, blue, and purple and several coats of clear making the flakes look a foot deep. On that deal I turned down three of the last Shelby gt500 on their lot too, ptsd is bad...Left for my third tour in Nam to my last duty station at Fort Eustis where I traded it in for a Crown Victoria as the salesman kept asking if I wanted more money for the Torino...I must of had ptsd back then cause I said no.

You didn't mention the hidden headlights, which absolutely make this car.

You need the breakdown report to see the true rarity of it; the items on the deluxe report don't include things like tach. $60 at Marti. Beautiful car and rare to begin with only 1, 600 made total.

This car has numerous enhancements from the factory. The shaker hood, concealed headlights, The laser stripe, the magnesium 500 wheels, the bucket seats and console. I estimate that this car cost about $4700 when new due to the rare options. Other available options at the time that this car did not have include power windows, 4 way power seat and an AM/FM Stereo radio.
