i never have much hope for hulu originals but my friend was telling me about it so i gave it a try and from episode one i was hooked. i’ve never been able to relate more to a character more than i have ramy, it makes each episodes message all the more powerful. i haven’t started season 2 just yet but season 1 touched me in a way i never thought possible.

I think this is the first TV show ever that portrays the struggles of a Muslim and believe it or not most of the "i dont know where i stand" feeling is shared amongst muslims from different cultures and locality. theres alot of wise takes if you read in between the lines.
