I am a Mexican married to a Palestinian man in the US. The show made us cry, laugh, feel outraged, and get goosebumps by the accuracy that this show brought to light about a young Muslim Palestinian man’s struggle in the US. I also love that this particular character happened to have a brother who wasn’t neuro-typical (on the spectrum).

We are so proud of this groundbreaking work! The amount of nuance weaved with laugh-until-you-cry comedy is incredible.

Thank you for not only amplifying the voices of many Palestinians and their struggles, but for Muslim Americans and migrants in general, and thank you for reminding the world that the Palestinian identity IS.

For a final comment, every single Palestinian I have ever met is in fact a fighter. They adapt and grow. I have yet to see another community match their ability to thrive and achieve what they achieve even with all the drawbacks, and I say that as a migrant myself.

I am honored to have a Palestinian family to call mine.

I work for a refugee resettlement agency in the USA and I’ve recommended this show to a lot of my clients and friends. The responses I’ve heard from folks has been so overwhelmingly positive, we’re all dying for a second season!!!

"It's a real branding problem" is the best summation I've heard of the situation

Mo is a heartfelt comedy series created by comedians Mo Amer (The Vagabond, Black Adam) and Ramy Youssef (Mr. Robot, Ramy). Amer plays Mo Najjar, who is working hard to juggle two cultures and three different languages, plus the challenges that come with trying to become a U.S. citizen as a Palestinian refugee.

Haven't seen Htown represented like this since DUDE WHERE IS THE PARTY YAAR. As a Houstonian, I absolutely loved the show. So many recognizable houston spots.
As a Muslim American growing up in houston, this show is so relatable. From trying lean, to dating a Latina... immigration issues, hookah spots on richmond Ave, slabs, selling merchandise out of a truck. So so relatable.

“It’s a real branding issue” - BRUH. 🤣 Still can’t believe Netflix is behind this. As an Arab-American, I love to see more of my people’s perspective represented in the mainstream. 🥹🙌🏻

Mexican American and found this show so poignant--such an eye opener to hear about Dreamers from other backgrounds! Loved the Arabic peppered with Spanish, and some of the jokes related to shared history (ie Moors in Spain).
