He was ripped as a child, he now gets set on fire almost everyday as a stuntman, and his dream is to become a quantum scientist. Well, more specifically, a nasa engineer

Anyone else think "Set myself on fire' was going to be some deep metaphor?

A good example of how strong parent influence is. Classic case of "living through their kids". It's obvious it wasn't his dream, or passion. It was his dads.

OMIGERD HES LIFTING AT A YOUNG AGE HES GONNA STUNT HIS GROWTH. "Now at age 23, Richard stands 6ft tall"

That's good that he distanced himself of what his abusive father wanted him to be. You can tell that weightlifting wasn't his passion, his dad just made him think that's what he wanted to be. Very happy his personality is shining through and he's doing what he wants to do. He's a pretty cool and interesting dude that didn't let the psychological scarring of his father as a child limit the decisions he makes today as an adult.

So how's your job?
Richard: *It's lit. Literally lit* .

This is irrefutable proof that lifting at a young age does not stunt height growth. Thank you for that Richard!

The moral of the story: Don't force your kids into the path you drew for them. Just watch them from close, care about, support and let them achieve their dreams and fulfill their destiny.

He's still in great shape; he rides on a skateboard, can go up stairs and does one chin-up. I guess I'm also in great shape; I ride a bicycle, can walk, and can do a cartwheel. Okay I can't do a cartwheel but I can skip.
