I'm a social psychologist, but also an android dev (sometimes) .. you're right about being in "flow". I often experience that when coding. Nice to see you quote Csikszentmahlyi's book (not sure about the pronunciation of his name - always found it to be a nightmare!). Also, regarding your "poker face" or maybe "poker voice" ...I find that especially appealing because when I am trying to learn something new, it's has a very calming effect on me. Good advice, Florian. One thing I do that really helps is to always create a new branch for any feature or bug fix work. This and git's stash command let me "switch gears" to go work on some other aspect of the project if I get too bogged down or bored on any one task. This way, productivity stays high, and I can return to the stashed work later, often after having done some reading about a particular challenge I faced in that branch.

I've found that when you hit a road block, sometimes it's OK to just stop and regroup - do something else productive and consider what you need to do or learn to overcome the hurdle..

If you do a "looking at my viewers apps" video, this could help with the problem mentioned in this video, giving people an idea of what kind of app a single person could build, and just inspire with different ideas showcased in general, im giving you free content here! (i know you previously said you dont think you could make it enertaining enough but i totally disagree) just show the app, say what you think, maybe briefly explain the components used in the app, maybe show interesting bits of code (or even horrible code) if the app is open source

Ich hatte eine Umschulung zur Fachinformatikerin Richtung AE begonnen, aber habe aufgrund der Komplexität irgendwann aufgegeben. Ich finde die gesamte Thematik wirklich mega interessant, aber habe tatsächlich auch kein Licht mehr am Ende des Tunnels gesehen. All das ist ja die Zukunft, aber ich habe das Gefühl, man muss dafür echt ein "Superbrain" sein. Vielleicht ist das auch einfach doch nichts für mich als Person.
