2015 Ford Fiesta 1.0 Liter EcoBoost Overheating???

This is a brief video of the overflow tank on a brand new 2015 Ford Fiesta with the 1.0 Liter EcoBoost engine. I had taken the car for a test drive, and noticed that, although the temperature gauge was normal, there was rapid bubbling in the coolant overflow chamber. Before buying the car, I told the salesperson to have a mechanic look at the issue to see what was going on.

I returned the next day, and took it for a test drive again. In the video, you'll see the results. The salesperson has just gotten done telling me that his mechanic said this was normal and that there were just a few bubbles in the cooling system of every new car. ??? As you'll see, there are rapid bubbles entering the overflow chamber, almost indicating something is boiling. The line coming in from the right of the screen is coming from the turbo and the engine is turned off.

I didn't believe the sales guy and didn't buy the car.

Anyone believe the sales guy, or have an opinion???

That is perfect normal, just the fluid returning

The Ford Eco as two cooling systems. A normal one (water pump) then an electric cooling system which kicks in after the engine is turned off.
It's job is to cool down the turbo as it's still very hot. The bubbling in the reservoir is normal and does not mean your car engine is over heating.
If the coolant (not water) is spilling out of the reservoir then it as probably been over filled. Check level in reservoir and do not over fill.

Perfectly normal my 1.0 red edition fiesta does this over in the UK as other people said it’s just a cooling system

My 2011 Fiesta SES did this today. I was idling for about 20 minutes and heard bubbling, turned off the car, and noticed a little smoke coming from the area. Could've been steam from the heat, but I didn't get any service lights or dings? I'm not sure if the heat caused a leak but the fluid is leaking out onto the ground now. Idk what to do!

This happens to me last week it took a while to find the root cause as it turs out there is a leak from heater core inside the cabin near the center console

You have to much cooling water in it you could remove like 25% of it and you still be slightly over it

Bubbling would be o.k. That would be normal. Yes there is a coolant system that bubbles the coolant. Try opening the tank, if it is exploding out then something is wrong with it. Bubbling is o.k.

The problem is when air conditioning is not air-tight. If you use air-conditioning and that fills up the coolant with air (from 0 km, from the beginning) and after you stopped you open the coolant tank, coolant is about to explode out of the tank. When overpressure gone (in about 10 minutes) you can hear a "puuuuke" - like sound. (probable explanation: If you switch on AC, air leaking into the hoses, fills up the coolant with air. The problem is not the overfilled coolant, the problem is air-leakage in my opinion.) The problem is that it makes the car sensibly weaker. If you drive forward for a while with AC switched off, it stops more than less...

Ther are other details are not worked out properly that makes my Ford Fiesta Ecoboost an annoying, nasty car. You cannot know when goes it normally when not. (Mine is 1.0 liter, 100 horsepower Fiesta, 2016...) I am struggling with it for half year.
