As a toddler, those moments were great and touching. Looking back, many still images for some reason look like a poster to the 1993 horror film FIRE IN THE SKY

I remember first seeing this movie on Disney Channel and just loving this opening sequence. It was like looking through an expanded version of other Disney intros. It also introduced me to Mary Blair's pastel art style that made the Era's collection look like a Fashion Designer's playground!

I remember I had the VHS from the late 80s and they cut out the RKO Radio slide; they just played the intro to a black screen at first and then showed the Walt Disney Presents screen.

Alice, my first cartoon waifu before the term was coined. As a little boy I always liked her. Just as the film she’s in, this title card very much sums up every moment to appear. And yet I find it hard to believe in 1951, this film was actually given a mixed response, yet this title theme managed to be a decent jazz hit during that period.
