The 5X portrait mode pics look incredible, even at 12 MP. When the tele lens gets the 48 MP sensor on the 17 Pro, it’s going to be next level.

The fact that the exposure compensation was kept at -2.0 throughout almost the entirety of the shootout was quite telling. It speaks to the ability of Lee to spot and see interesting scenes with nice natural contrast and depth rather than the iPhone’s imaging pipeline prowess. iPhone just doesn’t seem to like any kind of shadows and whenever it spots them, they get raised to unnaturally high levels that the image looks very flat and kinda uncanny. Apple, please leave the shadows be, many people like them🙏🏻

I watching this on my huge oled tv and I'm blown away by the quality of smartphone photos. It's unreal. I still own one my first iPhone to remind myself how far technology went since then. Apple Intelligence gonna be insane. PS: Awesome photos, Lee. Well done. And the model is stunning.

As an iPhone owner I have to say that iPhone’s photography & videography almost similar to any professional camera. Specially I like the Cinematic mode. ProRes is also cool❤

Holy cow! it's really impressive how this iphone can take such good pictures, some of them looks like it was taken from a profesional camera, can't wait to get mine! Brilliant video i really loved it good job!

the only channel I watch for comparison, see how really good the phone is. other phone reviewers focus more on the extreme side shooting bad shots while this style is showing what the full potential of the phone is if used properly.

Ngl, you're the best at doing that format (portrait mode vs pro camera), always pointing out the interesting things. I just see that you always work with female models, it'd be cool to see male models every once in a while
