The couple playing the panpipes and flutes at 1:38:07 are family friends I’ve known for years. Recently their only son has passed away at the age 14 and I can’t imagine the pain they must be feeling. I’m sure he would’ve been immensely proud that they could spread Peruvian culture through such a famous platform. I wish my condolences and nothing but the best for this family and although it’s been years since I’ve seen them, I hope their son can rest peacefully ❤🇵🇪

I know people have been talking about how "genshin doesnt feel the same anymore" but this? This feels like genshin, this is the most excited ive been to explore a new place in a while, and honestlt despite people complaints about it not being "war ravaged" enough, i think both the scenery and the story teasers we got look fuckinv awesome, i think we could actually get some really cool lore here

It's crazy to me that Natlan is already here. I felt like Fontaine came out yesterday; and it'll just be a year until Snezhnaya is released, and 2 years until we get a possible Abyss or Celestia arc. That basically means we might be at the end of Genshin's story in just a few years.

Wow, I was a bit bummed out this was 2 hours and thought I wouldn't watch it, but it was actually very fun for a video that's just supposed to introduce a new patch. I've always respected the devs for sharing the news themselves in a video instead of just patch notes and I love how they changed the heavily scripted variant with a more free and lighthearted appraoch here. The version trailer was awesome, I literally screamed when I saw Mavuika fight Il Capitano, I've been waiting for those two for very long. Also the fact that we're already getting an abyss invasion and we're not even in Kheanri'ah's arc yet is very interesting, I'd been wanting to see the abyss in action. Also the concept of the 6 tribes is pretty cool as well and I'm really excited to explore those as well. And of course the new characters and their traversal mechanics are really something, i've been saving up since the first teaser to get them. But even though I'm a lore fanatic and an oldschool player who enjoys character building and endgame dps checks, I'm most excited about the artifact crafting. I've been waiting and whining for this FOR YEARS, everywhere where there's been a mention of it. And after I've spent months trying to farm my Arlecchino and Clorinde's artifacts and getting, i kid you not a single good piece for what 3-4 months now, I can finally rest easy. And although I intended to skip over the music part because the video really is too long, I'm glad I didn't. Genshin's music team is insane and this is just on another level. I rarely go to concerts but if the next genshin concert is somewhere reasonably near, I'd go without a doubt. Fontaine's music was already on another level but the Natlan one is pure kino.

The Choir and the Orchestral accompanyment is IMMACULATE.

As a former orchestral musician myself, I got goosebumps (especially the first piece) as I listened. I am also impressed at the attention to detail in that they brought a whole host of artists well versed in their cultural-based musical traditions. Astute in selection and culturally respectful in execution, I can say with full confidence that their performance was superb.

Bravo to all musicians and artists.

Tbh, I never expected swahili in the natlan music. Pleasant surprise.
As a kenyan and a swahili speaker, I've never been more proud of this one. I love hearing exotic instruments incorporated into an orchestra similar to sumeru. That is what made sumeru music so good and that is probably going to happen in natlan as well. Its a fresh taste on music that our ears aren't used to and that's what makes it good
