Some more details that needs mentioning. The Bayratar is only useful against opponents without air defense systems. The Orlan would be a more cost effective alternative.
The Shahed drone is not very useful for actual destruction of targets because of it limited guidance. And I doubt Russia is importing them from Iran anymore and if they did, it would be cheaper than the 20k price tag. Russia has posted video of Shahed priduction facilities and even darken or jet powered versions.

I wonder if Iran can make cheap drones that can take out multi-million dollar us weapons? $5, 000 drone can take out $2, 000, 000 armored tank, you do the math. Glide bobs are also just getting started, cheap, impossible to stop and getting better everyday.

The purpose of these systems is to provide continual overwatch needs noting. It is the revolution in digital cameras that has been the game changer as well as in the case of Putin Russia anyways to develop tactics to properly "hide" from these systems instead simply driving and flying in in broad daylight only to be stopped and turned into the proverbial "sitting duck" which is ideal for drone warfare. Also new drones are battery powered and thus have an incredible "sortie rate" in the right conditions meaning if the enemy is fully engaged at point blank range one can loft hundreds of missions per day and of various types and effects as well as first off the up front capital expense is crazy low (maybe a few hundred thousand US Dollars) for numerous indeed innumerable systems but then once you start using $5.00 US Dollar hand grenades as the "weapon" this requires a stand off presence to combat which for some reason in the case of Russia they have simply been unwilling to do this into upon Ukraine. As this very simple technology becomes more militarized with hardened electronics, better communication systems, better optics, better range these advantages of pure play electric battery powered drones can grow quite dramatically as well...plus the software system as well ("return to home.") So now not just an incredible sortie rate but very rapid reload be possible. As far as Russian "kamikaze drones" this is nothing new as this was a tactic used persistently by Japan in World War 2 which was definitely very destructive but in no way impeded operations of the US Navy. The same is apparently true with Russia against Ukraine creating a kind of "Battle of Britain" situation which while terrifying will harden resolve as well. Once Ukraine goes from having hundreds of thousands of drones to millions of them the effect could be quite stunning against Russia and anyone else opposed to Ukraine for that matter. Already the Russian Black Sea Fleet has effectively been written off incredibly...this by a Nation that has no Navy.
