One of the reasons why the US military loves to give their old weapons to Ukraine is because it allows them to order new and improved weapons. Nothing makes the US military more happy than getting new toys.

Ukraine has about if even .05% of the US military equipment and Russia can't even handle that but they think they could handle the full military power of the USA + the other 31 countries of NATO. They must be on that good stuff.

At the start of WW2 the US was called “The Arsenal of Democracy.” And today we have continued it.

When talking about the Bradley, you forgot to mention the TOW missile launcher. This video needs an upgrade....

Come on Biden, North Korea sending troops to Russia could be a compelling reason to lift restrictions on Ukraine's use of American-supplied weaponry, allowing them to defend themselves more effectively against any target they deem necessary.

A couple of things you got wrong. First item is the US Marine Corps got rid of the M1A1 tanks. Second item, you stated that one weapon system is/was used by the Army and the Air Force. The Air Force never used that system, it was the US Marine Corps.

The video you explain that a Bradley was fighting a t 80 tank, that tank is actually a t90m tank, russia claims this tank is the most advanced tanks

You start with how great the Us contribution is by talking about the Bradley, our greatest failure. Not the weapon system, it’s the God of war, but we’ve only sent 300 when we could have sent 3000, or at least 600 or a thousand. Ukraine has 10 full brigades acting as rifle infantry because they don’t have IFVs- we just keep sending them hummers and Canadian senators, which are decent transport, but not ITVs. So don’t brag about how great the Bradley is when we barely send them any

What seems to be a large sum of money being dedicated to supporting Ukraine (primarily with military aid) is - when one peeks underneath the kimono - a bit deceptive in nature. How so, you may wonder. Well, for two reasons primarily... 1) Most - if not all - of the military kit being sent to Ukraine is "old" equipment (i.e., in the process of being decommissioned) is being priced at its original cost, not its disposal cost. Ergo, the value of the actual military equipment is highly inflated. The good news is that much of it is still better than anything Ukraine already had and it's still better than the Russian equipment. 2) The equivalent [inflated] dollar value of the equipment being sent to Ukraine is actually being invested in new equipment for use by the US military forces. And that's a good thing... aside from the misinterpretation of the facts and the misinformation being bantered about regarding how much money is being "given" to Ukraine.

That said, what military support the US is providing to Ukraine could be made even more effective if the restrictions on its use for striking targets inside Russia were to be removed. As it now stands, what value Ukraine is able to extract from this military aid is derived primarily through Ukraine's ability to improvise, adapt, and overcome. Through Ukraine's own innovation and out-of-the-box thinking and behaving, it's able to maximize the value the support it has been receiving. And now that Russia is turning to its lacky partners for its military support, I'd say it's high time for all of Ukraine's partners to untie Ukraine's other arm (analogously speaking) and let it fight in a two-fisted manner. The hell with Putin's nuclear threats; if Putin/Russia is going to open the nuclear Pandora's box, it won't be because Ukraine expels Russian invaders from its territory, it will be because Putin/Russia is not getting what it wants. There will never be an existential threat to Russia that comes from the outside. As happened in the past, the actual and pending collapse of both the Soviet and the Russian states has been and likely will be - respectively speaking - caused by internal weaknesses that are innate to their modus operandi. Any attempt to cover-up this reality is little more than excuse making. So, it's time for the US (and its Western/NATO allies) to let the real fight

I had no idea that "PATRIOT" was an acronym. That's the best thing I've learned all day. Fuckin' awesome acronym.

Yea the Dutch F-16s were likely built in Europe but the vast majority of the 4700+ F-16s that have been built are built in South Carolina in the United States. The F-16 is still in production to this very day in Georgia. The original F100 engines made by Pratt and Whitney, an American company, are not used anymore. Since 1994 the General Electric F-110-100 and -200 engines have been used which have a greater thrust to weight ratio and maximum thrust. The ones the Ukrainians are getting have these engines. The original Pratt and Whitney engines had maximum thrust of 24, 000 pounds and the newer GE engines have a maximum thrust of just under 30, 000 pounds.

The m777 155mm howitzers are actually british & the has uk restarted the production in Wales, it was originally designed in the late 80s early 90s as a light weight towed 155mm howitzer but the British army decided afterwards too only has self propelled 155mm howitzers & update the light weight 105mm howitzers instead!!! Then the Americans came knocking & loved it so we sold them it in kit form for yrs until they started producing parts of it themselves but we've just started up the production line again & will do what we did b4 & ship them over in kit form etc!!! The US marines don't have tanks anymore as they gave them up over 10yrs ago now!!!

Lore of How America Makes Ukraine’s Deadliest Weapons momentum 100

Realist Brit here. All very well this report, but not one of these super weapons so far has 'changed the game'. Yes, they've certainly helped keep the Russians back, and they've certainly wreaked havoc on a few Russian installations inside Russia, but the fact is the Russian way, the so-called meat-grinder approach, using old weaponry, Soviet era tanks, bad artillery, poor quality shells from North Korea, in fact all the things western commentators have been denigrating for two years, ACTUALLY WORKS, and there are millions more men where they came from who can be sacrificed. Ukraine is 'just' surviving, but it needs to WIN. When are Western leaders going to get this into their thick skulls!

M242 Bushmaster on the bradley has a range of 18, 000ft when used ballistically and the 2700m limit on the sabot has to do with the darts simply getting too hot and slowing down too much to be useful... she'll throw HE to 4km no problem, the targeting system really can't see that far but that won't stop the rounds from exploding either.
