I ended up having to connect my HP 6055e to my desktop computer to install it. It will print but it won't scan. I get a message saying HP Smart cannot scan from this printer.

How is the Windows PC detecting the new printer is ready for setup? It doesn't look like you had to connect to an HP Wi-Fi hotspot type network to complete the configuration and then switch back to the PC's normal Wi-Fi. It also doesn't doesn't specifically say that Bluetooth discovery between the laptop and the printer. Any idea what's actually happening?

This is the stupidest setup for a printer. The 6055e don't show you what buttons do what!
